Kala Bhairava Homam is performed by invoking Lord Kala Bhairavar followed by the chanting of Lord Kala Bhairavar Mantra and then performing the homam to receive the blessings. He is one of the powerful manifestations of Lord Shiva and the one who is considered to be the gatekeeper of all Shiva temples. He is the most powerful form of all the Bhairavas and the divine vehicle is the dog.
